The mass media must make decisions every day on what is deemed newsworthy to include in their publication/airtime. With all the various media options available today, the competition is growing fierce. This drives the media to find more controversial topics to headline with in hopes this will draw a larger audience and with that more ad revenue. However, are these stories the ones that make America great and can rebuild our hope and values?
